The Last In Line - UWFFL Week 11

The Last in Line for Week 11, Albuquerque Memorial, Animal-American Awareness Week Results – 11/18/13

Atlanta at Chicago

The Cyclones performance improves, but Atlanta still too much.
The Line said: Take visiting Atlanta minus the 17
The Result: Atlanta wins 24-14, but fails to cover the 17
The Line is broken…

Miami at Minnesota

Close all game long, but late scores by the Mustangs pull the victory wagon to safety…
The Line said: Take home Miami plus road plus 7
The Result: Minnesota wins 19-16, fails to cover the 7.
The Line passes!

New York at Detroit

Detroit kept it tight for a while, but the Sharks blow it out in the second half as the Demons prove too inconsistent in Hell...
The Line said: Go with home New York minus 7
The Result:  New York wins 23-13, and covers the 7.
The Line passes!

San Diego at Seattle

The Monochrome Storm Gray rolls to win the day and monochromes on the season go to 4-14…
The Line said: Go with home Seattle straight up.

Long live the Heinz 57!

Texas at San Francisco

The Line is wondering if there is just something about white helmets at the Ring Of Fire…
The Line said: Go with visiting Texas plus the 8.
The Result: Texas wins 18-14, winning outright.
The Line passes!

The Line goes 4-2 this week, and 13-4-1 overall.

The Minor League calls:

Brooklyn Mariners at Florida Geckos minus 4:, 18-12 (Florida covers)
Brooklyn UniWatchers plus 9 at Hartford: Hartford wins, 22-15 (Hartford fails to cover)
Dallas at Anchorage: Pick’em (Dallas).  Anchorage wins 19-17
Portland at Beverly Hills minus 4: Portland wins 21-7.
Sacramento minus 6 at San Antonio, Sacramento wins 20-13   (Sacramento covers)
Vancouver minus 22 at Los Angeles, Vancouver wins 23-5.      (Vancouver fails to cover)

The Line goes 4-2, 8-3-1 overall and is beyond amazed that Sacramento could play football in a storm trooper helmet…

We’d also like to congratulate the AFC Vibora on their successful premiere in La Lega, flying into Barcelona and defeating the Dragons on their home field, 18-14.

The Line would also like to tell Dallas fans that if you’re leading late in a contest and find yourself in Alaska, it’s probably a good idea to shut your cake hole until you actually secure the victory...

Much love to our sponsors: Shecky Greene’s Intergalactic Casino, Ruinum, Ninjas, NuKlear Soda, and Leninade.
